Ogo Ofomata

Ogo is an experienced Sales Director with a proven track record of leading and developing successful sales teams across Africa with over 18 years’ experience in business development and sales management. She has a superior understanding of the Nigerian and African Market challenges and has profound knowledge of telecommunications systems and emerging technologies.

She was the Nigeria Country Manager for PCCW Global (the International Operating Division of HKT – Hong Kong Telecom) from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, she founded Zili Limited in 2012, a marketing firm, which was refocused in 2017 to provide business optimization services for medium-sized enterprises and deal origination consulting for private equity funds.

Ogo also worked at Vodacom Business Africa as the Executive Director of Sales and Marketing. In this capacity, she led the team of continental and global sales managers across 15 countries of operations.

In addition, she has held strategic roles at Gateway Communications Africa and GS Telecom Nigeria which added to her wealth of experience as a Director of Sales.

Since 2015, Ogo has served in Freedom Foundation and is currently an Executive Committee member of House of Refuge, a substance abuse centre for men under the Foundation. She is also the Project Director for MyLagosDiaries, a docu-series that chronicles the transformative journey of the lives of people with substance use disorder.

Ogo has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and several executive level certificates in Business, Strategy, Sales, Corporate Finance, Substance Abuse and Policy.
