Who We Are
Freedom Foundation is a non-governmental organization established in 2001 to carry out the mandate of pioneering social reformation within our communities. It was established as a faith-based, non-profit organization, committed to addressing the staggering challenges within our society by empowering individuals who are plagued by various categories of social and economic disadvantage.
Our target populations are the socially and economically disadvantaged and vulnerable men, women and children within our society, all of whom have the right to be protected against poverty and the right to access basic social services, such as education and health. We believe that all individuals have the right to participate fully in the process of governance, the right to equal development, as well as, the right to enjoy access to vital resources and the basic necessities of life. In order to achieve this, we focus on two of the four building blocks to attaining a good life.
